EN 54 SmartDriver Kit
The AS EN 54 Configurator Tool is a Windows application that is used to create EcoStruxure Building Operation interfaces, devices, values, alarms, graphics and bindings in an automation server to represent the Esmi fire detection system.
The interface between Esmi fire detection panels and EcoStruxure Building Operation is handled by the AS
EN 54 SmartDriver Kit EBO Fire Graphics (AS EN54 FIRE SD).
Event and command information is sent/received by the main fire detection panel using RS-485 communication to/from the AS EN 54 SmartDriver Kit EBO Fire Graphics.
The EcoStruxure Building Operation points and graphics for the interface can be created with the AS EN 54 Configurator Tool (AS EN54 CT).
The AS EN 54 Configurator Tool is a Windows application where you can import floor plans and Esmi configuration files and create the EcoStruxure Building Operation interface, devices, points, alarms and TGML graphics.
Commissioning and Integration Guide
The maximum number of BACnet objects per type is limited. Refer to the EcoStruxure Building
Management Architectural Guidelines.
• The AS EN 54 Configurator Tool only supports certain configuration files:
– *.json
– *.fx3, created with WinFX3Net version 7.0.1 and newer
• The INFO protocol only supports device addresses from 1 to 255. Device address 256 and above are not supported.
• Do not connect devices to the INFO board in parallel. A REP Sense Protocol Repeater is necessary when more than a single device is connected to one INFO board.
• The number of simultaneous client connections to the automation server is limited to 5.
