This Smart Connector Extension allows events saved in a user’s Google Calendar to be represented under the Ecostruxure Building Operation Model.
The SmartConnector exposes Google Calendar Events requested via the Google API and thereby providing the following details for every event:
• Event Summary
• Next Event
• Occupancy
Rooms Represented in EBO
The example below is a graphical representation of how the data is modelled within EBO when a request triggers a response via the API for event data.
The information that is collated allows users to form their own analysis as a business and make necessary adjustments for the purposes of optimising their services and ultimately save on costs.
